To start things off, i think i'lll tell you about myself. I am only telling you these things because everything im telling you will probably be discussed more in the future, not because i think you care. My name is Daniel and I am 18 years old from the wonderful western new york. I love hockey and everything about it, ive been playing it for my whole life and i could talk about it for hours. Besides hockey ive played many different sports through high school and into college. I am currently going to school for computer networking so i do have some interest in computers.
Now that you know a little bit about me im going to move on to the main reason why im writing this introduction post. I wanted to let you as the reader know why i am writing this. Well, as Forest Gump would put it, there's no particular reason for writing this. So read if you want but if you have a life then idk if this is for you.
Ok, so ive been all over the place with this post so far but, their is a lot info i wanna put in this. Before i go any further i want to help you as the reader understand my writing style. Ive never claimed to speak good english or to be a great writer but, i hope its good enough to the point where its readable. Btw any pointers you have i will take, i take constructive criticism pretty well. Besides not being the best writer i do have some odd tendancies. I do have a lot so i thought it would be easier to just list them:
- i dont capitalize i when i write
- i dont capitalize anything anything that needs to be unless its at the start of a sentence because it just automatically does it
- i never say lmao, rofl, lol, or any other letter combo to show that i am laughing, i stick with the "hahahahaha"
- idk, btw, and a few others are the only abbreviations i use commonly, and probably will use them a lot throughout my writing
- not big on apostrophes
- i use spell correct on the big words (kinda like apostrophes)
- yeah, not a good speller
- there and their are mysteries to me, i just dont know. however, i can understand they're
- not big on cursing in my writing
- im a hockey player so forgive me when some of my hockey slang shows (duster, plug, goon, puck-slut, dust-bunny, etc) i suggest adding the hockey dictionary as a friend on facebook, its the number one source for understanding hockey slang.
- and finally im a horrible speller so when reading you may have to correct what im saying in your head and hopefully in a month or two by writing so much it will get better.
